The essence of the song:
This is one of the beautifully penned motivational songs in recent years. While most songs will be preachy, ‘Thala kothum’ stands out giving a self-pat to the listeners. Pradeep’s voice always touches you and this is no exception. My favourite lines of the song are: “நீல வண்ண கூரை இல்லாத நிலம் இங்கு ஏது?”. It directly punches equality straight in the face and essentially straight-out forms the one-word summary of the entire film.
